  • ALA

    ALA was established as Asociacion Latinoamericana de Archivos in Lima, Peru, on 6 April 1973. ALA joined ICA as regional branch in 1976(Resolution 5, ICA General Assembly, Washington, United States of America, 28 September 1976). ALA operates under the Constitution of the Association latinoamericana de archivos adopted in Madrid, Spain, 1982(published in ALA, special issues, 1986)

  • ARBICA

    ARBICA operates under the Constitution of the Arab Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives adopted in Seville 1985(published in 1986).

  • CARBICA

    CARBICA operates under the Constitution of the Caribbean Archives Association adopted by the second Caribbean Archives Conference, Guadeloupe and Martinique, 1975(published in Caribbean Archives, no 4, 1976).

  • CENARBICA

    CENARBICA operates under its own constitution adopted at its inaugural meeting in Bangui(Central African Republic) on 24 September 1982. The branch was suspended in Seville in 2000 and reintegrated in Vienna in 2004.

  • ESARBICA

    ESARBICA operates under its own constitution adopted at the Branch’s inaugural conference, Nairobi, 1969 and amended 1976.

  • EURASICA

    EURASICA operates under its own constitution adopted at the Branch’s inaugural conference, Moscow, 2000.

  • EURBICA

    EURBICA operates under the Constitution of the European Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives adopted at its inaugural conference in Florence in 2001.

  • NAANICA

    NAANICA is responsible for carrying out the policy and programmes of the ICA in the region of North America.

  • PARBICA

    PARBICA is responsible for carrying out the policy and programmes of the ICA in the region of Pacific, established in 1981.

  • SARBICA

    SARBICA is the first Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives. It was established at an inaugural Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 9 July 1968. The year 2008, marked the 40th anniversary of SARBICA has helped foster professional relationship between archival institutions within the region.

  • SWARBICA

    SWARBICA is responsible for carrying out the policy and programmes of ICA in this region, where these are relevant to SWARBICA members.

  • WARBICA

    WARBICA is responsible for carrying out the policy and programmes of the ICA in the region of West Africa, established in 1977.
