This year’s EASTICA General Conference will be our first face-to-face gathering after three years of just meeting online due to the Pandemic.

The theme of the 16th General Conference is “the Roles of Archivists and Archives in Digital Age”.

Confronting the tide of ever-changing digital technology and ever-increasing use of artificial intelligence, archivists face new challenges to adopt themselves to the digital trends, and to meet new demands from inside and outside for better archival work in a digital way. We hope that we can share our ideas and observation, as well as our practical experience in taking up this challenge at this coming EASTICA General Conference.
